One who reads well this creation of Vivasvan, the son of Aditi, becomes endowed with progeny. He attains identity with Vaivasvata Manu, lord Sraddha-Deva who bestows prosperity on the subjects. He becomes free from sins and Rajasic qualities. He becomes long-lived and does not swerve from the righteous path.
