A person who has mastered (all lores) does not get (realize) the Atman. He wanders within the three worlds due to his own actions. A person who has mastered !Rgveda, Yajurveda, Samaveda and all their ancillary subjects does not attain Brahman which is devoid of changes and aberrations (iavikaiam) and therefore, becomes distressed.
