The Benefit of Sraddha Performance - Verse 3-4

The second Astakaf shall be Prajapatya (with Prajapati as its deity) and the third one (is) Vaisvadevikl. The first Asfakd shall always be performed with flour cakes. The second should always be performed with meat. The third Asfakd shall be performed with greens and vegetables. This is the injunction regarding the articles (for Sraddha) . The Anvastakd (the ninth day in the dark half of Pausa, Magha and Phalguna) of the Pitrs is also laid down permanently.
