The brilliantly shining goddess Earth, the quarters, the intermediate quarters, the Lords of quarters, the celestial virgins, the wives of Devas, the mothers and Ayu—all these were present there in embodied form in front of the Lord (Brahma) who was performing the Yajfia assuming the form of Varuna.
