Description of Pitrs - Verse 7-8

He (Pururavas) used to go to see his maternal and paternal grand-fathers, the Moon and the Sun, on every Amavasya. After making obeisance to them, he used to keep waiting. For the sake of the Pitys, he used to extract exudation from the delighted Moon. In every month Pururavas, son of Ila, stayed in the heaven and worshipped the Moon with devotion along with Pitrs.
