The regions on the South and North of Meru - Verse 12

On the western side of this island, after four thousand yojanas, we find in the ocean the island called Bhadrakara covering an area of one thousand yojanas. Therein is the abode oi Vayu adorned by numerous gems. There Vayu remains in corporal form. There the people are golden in colour and live for five thousand years.
