The regions on the South and North of Meru - Verse 10

On the western side of this island, after four thousand yojanas, we get the celestial region Candradvlpa covering an area of one thousand yojanas. In its middle are two waterfalls called Candrakanta and Suryakanta. Between them is the great river Candravarta with numerous tributaries and many trees (on the banks).
