तं त्वा॑ दू॒तं कृ॑ण्महे य॒शस्त॑मं दे॒वाँ आ वी॒तये॑ वह । विश्वा॑ सूनो सहसो मर्त॒भोज॑ना॒ रास्व॒ तद्यत्त्वेम॑हे
taṃ tvā dūtaṃ kṛṇmahe yaśastamaṃ devām̐ ā vītaye vaha viśvā sūno sahaso martabhojanā rāsva tadyattvemahe
We make you messenger, glorious one, to convey this to the gods; may all sons together, with vigorous appetite, bring us that share.
We constitute you our most renowned messenger; bring the gods to partake (of the oblations); bestowupon us, son of strength, all human blessings; whatsoever we solicit of you.
Thee, thee Most Glorious One we make our messenger. Bring the Gods hither to the feast. Give us, O Son of Strength, all food that fcedeth man: give that for which we pray to thee.
