The two gods, skilled and kindly, have been invoked—Varuna and the radiant one—let him offer for Varuna the law and give the great libation with effort.
Man, endowed with intelligence, (adore) the two deities, the performers of good deeds, the destroyers of foes; offer (oblations) to the adorable accepter of (sacrificial) food, to Varuṇa, whose form is water.
O SAPIENT man, call the Two Gods, the very wise, who slay the foe. For Varuna, whose form is Law, place offerings for his great delight.
