शु॒नम॒स्मभ्य॑मू॒तये॒ वरु॑णो मि॒त्रो अ॑र्य॒मा । शर्म॑ यच्छन्तु स॒प्रथ॑ आदि॒त्यासो॒ यदीम॑हे॒ अति॒ द्विषः॑
śunamasmabhyamūtaye varuṇo mitro aryamā śarma yacchantu sapratha ādityāso yadīmahe ati dviṣaḥ
Hear us as friends, Varuṇa, Mitra, Aryaman. Grant to us the shelter of glory; if we honor the Ādityas first, be very favorable.
May Varuṇa, Mitra, Aryaman (bestow) upon us felicity for our protection; may the Ādityas grant usthat abundant happiness which we solicit, (and lead us) beyond (the reach of) our enemies.
May they give bliss to aid us well, Varuna, Mitra, Aryaman: May the Adityas, when we pray, grant us wide shelter and defence beyond our foes.
