imaṃ nu somamantito hṛtsu pītamupa bruve yatsīmāgaścakṛmā tatsu mṛḷatu pulukāmo hi martyaḥ
They called this Soma into their hearts, and I spoke of the golden juice. Whatever came near and moved gently, let that delight mortal beings.
(Pupil): I beseech the Soma, which has been drunk in my heart, that it may fully expiate the sin we have committed; man is subject to many desires.
This Soma I address that is most near us, that which hath been imbibed within the spirit, To pardon any sins we have committed. Verily mortal man is full of longings.
