ततो दुर्योधनश्चापि राधेयश्च विशाम्पते। धृतराष्ट्रमुपागम्य वचोऽब्रूतामिदं तदा॥ संनिधौ विदुरस्य त्वां वक्तुं न शक्नुवः। विविक्तमिति वक्ष्याव: किं तवेदं चिकीर्षितम्॥ सपत्नवृद्धिं यत् तात मन्यसे वृद्धिमात्मनः। अभिष्टौषि च यत् क्षत्तुः समीपे द्विषतां वर॥
O king, then there came to Dhritarashtra Duryodhana and the son of Radha (Karna) and they thus spoke to him, “We are incapable of speaking wicked designs before Vidura, We have now found you alone; we shall, therefore, speak to you all that we desire to say. O father, are you considering the prosperity of the enemy as your own? O best of men, you were applauding the Pandavas before Kshatta.
