Birth of seven sages (saptarṣi): Race of Bhṛgu and Aṅgiras - Verse 42

Sūta said:: Agni (the fire-god) accepted (him as his son), We have heard that the descendants of Aṅgiras are Āgneyas. The semen virile was further divided into six by Brahmā, the maker of the worlds and deposited into the fire by way of Homa. It is mentioned in the Vedas that Brahmās were born of it.
